In Robbinsville, NC we have a long standing tradition of dancing in the streets — on Friday nights we drag out the bleachers, sling corn meal on the pavement, and wait for dusk to begin to fall. As the crowd begins to gather the band warms up their strings and dancers change their shoes. Our annual Dancing on the Square is an event that draws all ages, all abilities, and locals and visitors alike. If you happen upon the event by accident — don’t be shy, join in!
Dancing on the Square is located in front of the Graham County courthouse at 12 N. Main Street from 7:30 am to 10:00 pm. In case of rain the event will be moved to the Community Building at 196 Knight Street.
