Robbinsville, North Carolina is located in the beautiful Great Smoky Mountain Region of the southern Appalachian Mountains. Known for it’s diverse species of flora and fauna, the region is home to Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest, Slickrock Creek Wilderness Area, Natahala National Forest, and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

From Huffman Creek, you’re only moments to the secluded waters of Lake Santeetlah. The lake boasts almost an entirely undeveloped shoreline with 75% being home to National Forest. Continue on your journey and loop back around to Huffman Creek on the Cherohala Skyway, which winds through mountaintop ridges of the Cherokee National Forrest.
