Listen, learn, and have fun with stories about Graham County from local people from Graham County and enjoy a free Soup Lunch.
Jan 14: Kim Hainge of God’s Gardens on the topic of Winter Birds & Winter Plants.
Jan 28: Randy Collins of NC Cooperative Extension presenting on Pawpaws, a nutritious fruit tree that also assists in erosion control.
February 11: Victoria Baker of Daughters of the American Revolution talking about WNC’s role in the Revolutionary War.
February 25: Teresa Garland of Graham County Historical Association on Cemetery Decoration.
March 11: Dwight Bradshaw of Smoky Mountain Boys, and Wood, Wire, & Clay with stories of area musicians from back in the day.
March 25: Lloyd Arneach, Cherokee Storyteller, telling “old stories” of history and culture.
